Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Estates Patrol in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment for residents and guests. This is an armed and driving post, offering the chance to stay visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate with professionalism. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, and communicate with residents or property contacts regarding visitor access requests.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, amenities, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
