As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in New Port Richey, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe site activity, documenting security-related incidents, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns for follow-up.
  • Support law enforcement-related operations at the location by communicating clearly with site contacts, requesting assistance when needed, and following established response protocols.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
