POSITION SUMMARY

The MBS Clinical Reviewer timely and accurately collects and enters data into the MBSAQIP Data Registry Platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational and administrative duties

• Ensure that case and follow up data are entered into the platform within the prescribed data entry timeframes
• Retrieve and enter long-term follow-up data on a compounding number of patients over time
• Fulfill requests for patient data
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient/personnel information
• Participate as a member of the MBS Committee

Attend at least 2 meetings annually

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of online initial training
• Maintenance of certification

Completion of ongoing training

Completion of annual certifying exam

Compliance with data audits

• Adequate clinical knowledge and an understanding of patient care
• Ability to utilize hospital information systems
• Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office
