At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services) , our mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities through quality, community-based services.

We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Job Coach to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving success in community-based employment. If you're ready to make a real impact, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized vocational support, including on-site job coaching, emotional and social counseling, and skill-building.
  • Motivate and encourage individuals to reach their employment goals while promoting positive behaviors and peer interaction.
  • Provide transportation to job sites using agency vehicles or personal transportation when needed.
  • Support individuals at their job sites by modeling tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records such as timesheets and assessments.
  • Teach essential vocational and soft skills such as resume writing, interviewing, travel training, and workplace safety.
  • Collaborate with employers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Partner with Job Developers and Senior Job Coaches during job placement and training phases.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including case notes, action plans, and mileage logs.
  • Represent the agency professionally in all community and business interactions.
  • Stay current with all required trainings and certifications.
  • Work closely with the SEMP Team to ensure coordinated service delivery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities in a vocational setting preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
  • A commitment to teamwork and the agency's mission.
  • Flexible work hours based on individual and employer needs.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and carry items of varying weights to support individuals in diverse work environments.
