Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related documentation and compliance activities within the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure timely processing of employee and company legal documents while maintaining strong relationships with UAE government authorities and ensuring compliance with local labor and immigration regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage UAE employment visas, Emirates ID applications, labor permits, residency visa renewals, cancellations, and status changes.
  • Process company trade license renewals, establishment card renewals, and other corporate legal documentation.
  • Liaise with UAE government authorities, including
  • MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation)
  • ICP (Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security)
  • GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs)
  • Dubai/Sharjah Economic Department (DED/SEDD)
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Other relevant UAE government entities.
  • Ensure timely renewal of company licenses, permits, visas, and employee legal documents to maintain full compliance.
  • Stay updated on UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and government procedures.
  • Coordinate with the HR department and management on all PRO-related activities and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of visa statuses, license expiry dates, and government transactions.
  • Handle attestation, notarization, document legalization, and other government documentation as required.
  • Represent the company professionally during interactions with government departments and external agencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Public Relations Officer (PRO).
  • Candidates from India or Pakistan are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
  • Hands-on experience using UAE government portals, including:
  • MOHRE
  • ICP
  • GDRFA
  • TAMM (if applicable)
  • Dubai Now (if applicable)
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
