As a Recruitment Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day recruitment activities across our organization. Working closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources team, you'll help keep the recruitment process moving—from posting opportunities and pre-screening candidates to coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding, and creating a positive experience for every candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day recruitment activities across the organization.
  • Manage job postings across internal and external recruitment platforms.
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Build positive relationships by maintaining timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Represent Canad Inns at career fairs and recruitment events.
  • Coordinate and administer the Employee Referral Program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners, educational institutions, and community organizations to support talent attraction initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas that improve recruitment processes and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Maintain and update Human Resources information on the Staff Website, ensuring content is accurate, current, and accessible to employees.
  • Support onboarding and other Human Resources initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation, human rights legislation, and recruitment best practices.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to company properties and recruitment events.
