About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pentaho Developer with strong expertise in Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) and enterprise‑grade ETL development. The ideal candidate brings deep technical capability, strong analytical skills, and hands‑on experience designing, building, and troubleshooting complex data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI).
• Build and optimize Pentaho jobs, transformations, and steps for high‑performance data processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ETL pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain Pentaho reporting solutions .
• Collaborate with BI teams to support end‑to‑end Business Intelligence implementations .
• Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions , and complex SQL queries .
• Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, and delivery.

Must‑Have Skills

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) .
• Strong experience in ETL development , job design, transformations, and performance tuning.
• Proven capability in Pentaho reporting .
• Solid BI implementation background.
• Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL , stored procedures, functions, and complex SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Desirable Skills

• Broader BI ecosystem knowledge.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts.

Work Arrangement

• Partial Remote: 2 days onsite in Amsterdam, 3 days remote.
