Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking 10 energetic and results driven Direct Sales Agents for a growing investment advisory and capital markets firm in Dar es Salaam. The role is responsible for promoting and facilitating the opening of Central Depository System (CDS) Accounts, the mandatory investment accounts required for buying and selling shares listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), while educating prospective investors and achieving daily application targets in the field. The ideal candidate should be confident, persuasive, and passionate about financial services sales, with the ability to engage and inspire Tanzanians to begin their investment journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach prospective investors in the field, introducing them to the benefits of investing through the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.
  • Educate clients clearly and confidently on the importance of a CDS Account as the first and mandatory step to buying and selling shares on the DSE.
  • Assist clients in accurately completing and submitting CDS Account application forms, ensuring all documentation is complete and correctly processed.
  • Achieve a minimum daily target of 20 completed CDS Account applications, maintaining consistent field performance throughout the deployment period.
  • Encourage clients to activate and fund their investment accounts following successful CDS Account registration, supporting client conversion and account utilisation goals.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships in the field, representing the company professionally and promoting trust in the investment process.
  • Participate in one week of intensive product and sales training prior to field deployment, actively absorbing all product knowledge and sales techniques provided.
  • Submit accurate daily field activity reports, tracking applications completed, client interactions, and performance against daily targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Form IV certificate is preferred. A Diploma or higher qualification is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in field sales including bank account acquisition, SIM card registration, mobile money, insurance, fintech, or similar direct sales activities is preferred.
  • Energetic, persuasive, and target oriented personality with a genuine passion for sales and customer engagement is recommended.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial products clearly to a diverse audience is recommended.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, meet daily targets, and maintain high levels of motivation and professionalism is recommended.
  • Basic understanding of financial markets, stock exchange operations, or investment products is an added advantage.
  • Smartphone literacy and ability to use basic digital tools for reporting and communication is recommended
