Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor & Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality videos and creating engaging 2D/3D animations for marketing campaigns, social media, corporate communications, training materials, and promotional content. The candidate should possess strong storytelling skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling visual content.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality content.

Create 2D motion graphics and animations for videos, presentations, advertisements, and social media.

Design and animate logos, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other motion graphic elements.

Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to understand project requirements and creative direction.

Enhance videos using color correction, sound design, visual effects, and motion graphics.

Sync audio, music, voiceovers, and subtitles accurately.

Optimize videos for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and websites.

Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.

Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and media libraries.

Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, animation techniques, and industry best practices.

Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Animation, Film Production, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).

2–5 years of professional experience in video editing and animation.

Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, and animation work.

Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

Strong experience with Adobe After Effects

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

Knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and video compression.

Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

Experience creating reels, shorts, and social media content.

Knowledge of 2D character animation and explainer videos.

Basic graphic design skills.

Experience with green screen editing, masking, and compositing.

Understanding of current social media trends and audience engagement strategies.

Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi Work Mode: Onsite Working Timings: Mon - Fri (9AM to 5PM) - Saturdays WFH
