We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administration of commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of building infrastructure, utilities, safety systems, and vendor-managed services while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, compliance, and workplace experience.

This role requires strong coordination skills, operational expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure facilities remain safe, well-maintained, and cost-efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of building infrastructure, utilities, and facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Plan and manage preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, and breakdown resolution for all equipment and utilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety standards, emergency preparedness protocols, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor housekeeping, hygiene, security, and overall service quality to maintain a safe and professional workplace environment.
  • Coordinate with AMC vendors, housekeeping teams, security agencies, and external contractors to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Track utility consumption, maintenance expenses, and resource utilization while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets, equipment, spare parts inventory, maintenance schedules, and vendor documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, maintenance logs, compliance records, and audit documentation.
  • Resolve facility-related issues promptly while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices in facility management and operational excellence.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven experience in facility management, building operations, or workplace administration.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, utilities management, and infrastructure operations.
  • Good understanding of workplace safety standards, fire safety regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure efficient facility operations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets, maintenance schedules, and operational records.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, resolve operational challenges, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and monitoring facility performance metrics.
  • Experience in blue-collar workforce management or coordinating operational teams will be an added advantage.
