Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Generative AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and other deep learning architectures.
• Conduct research and implement state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques in Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, and machine learning.
• Collaborate closely with business domain experts and technical teams to translate client requirements into robust, scalable AI solutions.
• Process, cleanse, and analyse large-scale datasets to train, fine-tune, and validate sophisticated models.
• Evaluate model performance, conduct rigorous testing, and iterate on solutions to ensure they meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to the enhancement of C5i’s proprietary suite of AI products, solutions, and accelerators.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in the field of Generative AI and share knowledge with the wider team.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer, with a strong focus on Generative AI.
• In-depth understanding of deep learning frameworks, particularly transformers, GANs, and VAEs.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python and essential data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong practical experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated machine learning services.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. A PhD is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
