Job Description: Senior B2B Sales Manager – Cosmetics & Personal Care

## Role Overview
The Senior B2B Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying, securing, and scaling commercial partnerships within the cosmetics, skin care, and personal care sectors. This role focuses on high-value B2B channels, which may include contract manufacturing (OEM/ODM), private label partnerships, raw material/ingredient supply, or primary packaging distribution to major beauty brands and clinical labels.
The ideal candidate brings a robust network of industry contacts, a deep understanding of cosmetic product development timelines, and a proven track record of managing long-cycle complex negotiations.
## Key Responsibilities
### Strategic Account Management & Business Development
- *Pipeline Generation:* Identify and secure new B2B client partnerships with indie beauty brands, multinational cosmetics corporations, and private label retailers.
- *Key Account Growth:* Manage and scale a portfolio of existing tier-1 accounts, identifying upsell opportunities through new formulations, packaging innovations, or product line extensions.
- *Contract Negotiation:* Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations, establishing multi-year supply agreements, pricing structures, and master service agreements (MSAs) that maximize profitability.
### Cross-Functional Collaboration
- *R&D & Formulation Alignment:* Serve as the strategic bridge between client product development teams and internal R&D chemists to ensure custom formulations meet brand briefs and regulatory standards.
- *Supply Chain Coordination:* Partner with operations, manufacturing, and logistics teams to guarantee accurate demand forecasting, minimizing lead times and ensuring on-time delivery.
### Market Intelligence & Strategy
- *Trend Analysis:* Track global beauty trends (e.g., clean beauty, waterless formulations, biotechnology ingredients) to proactively pitch innovative solutions to B2B clients.
- *Competitor Mapping:* Monitor competitor capabilities, pricing strategies, and manufacturing advancements to maintain a distinct market advantage.
## Role Requirements
- *Industry Experience:* 7–10 years of quantifiable success in B2B sales specifically within the cosmetics, personal care, or ingredient/packaging supply chain.
- *Technical Literacy:* Solid understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes, regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, EU cosmetics regulations), and product compliance requirements.
- *Proven Track Record:* Demonstrated history of managing sales portfolios valued at $3M+ annually, consistently meeting or exceeding growth targets.
- *Network:* An active, clean professional network of decision-makers (Product Developers, Brand Founders, Procurement Directors) within the beauty space.
- *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Cosmetic Science background is a significant plus).
