Expected pay for this position is $17.66 - $19.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Linen Technician is responsible for the safe handling, sanitation, distribution, ordering, and tracking of linen, as well as the collection, segregation, and removal of waste and regulated medical waste (RMW) throughout the facility. This position ensures the continuous availability of hygienically clean linen and the proper management of waste streams to support patient care, visitor comfort, Mission Partner safety, and regulatory compliance. This role is a critical contributor to infection prevention and environmental safety through strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and quality standards. The position responds to routine, urgent, and STAT service requests and may interact with patients, families, and staff in a manner appropriate to the population served while upholding organizational policies and infection prevention practices.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position
Licensure/ Certification
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification
