Position Summary 🌟 Now Hiring: Environmental Technician I Make a Difference Every Day Join Orlando Health's Environmental Services team and help create a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and team members. As an Environmental Technician I, you will play a critical role in infection prevention, patient satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our healthcare facilities. 🧹 What You'll Do Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, public areas, and other assigned spaces Support patient throughput by completing timely room turnovers for admissions and discharges Remove trash, soiled linen, and bio-medical waste Replenish supplies and change curtains as needed Operate cleaning equipment and UV disinfection machines Follow infection prevention, PPE, and safety protocols Utilize department technology systems, including Bed Management systems Report maintenance and safety concerns Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, and team members Support departmental quality improvement initiatives ✅ Qualifications Education No minimum education requirement Experience No experience required Experience in environmental services, hospitality, housekeeping, healthcare support services, or a related field is preferred Licensure/Certification None required 💙 Why Orlando Health?
