Job Overview
Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance/Building Engineer to support general building, trailer, facility, and equipment maintenance needs within a semiconductor and industrial project environment.
This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day maintenance activities across MICU buildings, trailers, and facility areas, including plumbing, air conditioning, filters, electrical components, basic mechanical work, vehicle maintenance, tool tracking, and general labor support. The Maintenance/Building Engineer will assist with inspections, repairs, reporting, inventory tracking, and maintenance coordination to help ensure safe, organized, and reliable facility operations.
The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance and mechanical experience, basic knowledge of plumbing, AC, electrical, and vehicle maintenance, and strong attention to detail. This role requires good communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to support multiple maintenance scopes in a fast-paced construction and facility-support environment.
Key Responsibilities
Building, Trailer & Facility Maintenance
- Perform general maintenance work for MICU buildings, trailers, and related facility areas.
- Support maintenance activities involving plumbing, AC systems, filters, electrical components, mechanical systems, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Perform routine inspections, minor repairs, adjustments, and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Assist with general labor work and facility-support tasks as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests and help identify repair needs, unsafe conditions, or equipment concerns.
- Support upkeep of work areas, storage areas, trailers, offices, and other assigned facility spaces.
- Assist with maintenance needs related to building functionality, cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
Plumbing, AC, Electrical & Mechanical Support
- Support basic plumbing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist with air conditioning and filter maintenance, including inspection, replacement, and routine upkeep.
- Perform basic electrical support tasks within approved scope and safety requirements.
- Assist with mechanical maintenance and repair activities for facility-related equipment and systems.
- Support vehicle maintenance coordination, inspection, and basic upkeep as assigned.
- Identify abnormal equipment conditions, maintenance issues, leaks, damaged components, or potential safety concerns.
- Escalate complex repairs, electrical concerns, mechanical failures, or urgent maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor or service provider.
Reporting, Documentation & Computer Support
- Complete daily and weekly maintenance reports accurately and on time.
- Document completed work, pending maintenance items, repair needs, inspections, and follow-up actions.
- Use basic Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint forms, to support reporting and documentation requirements.
- Maintain organized maintenance records, checklists, forms, and related documentation.
- Communicate maintenance status updates clearly to supervisors and internal teams.
- Support detail-oriented reporting to help track ongoing facility and equipment needs.
Tool Inventory, Tracking & Organization
- Maintain tool inventory and assist with tracking assigned tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Monitor tool usage, availability, and condition to support maintenance activities.
- Organize tools, materials, and storage areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Report missing, damaged, or unsafe tools and equipment in a timely manner.
- Assist with material staging, maintenance supply coordination, and inventory-related tasks as needed.
Safety, Quality & Team Support
- Follow company safety policies, site procedures, PPE requirements, and safe work practices at all times.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company and project-site expectations.
- Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, vendors, and internal departments.
- Provide strong customer service when responding to internal maintenance requests.
- Work independently while also supporting team-based assignments and cross-functional maintenance needs.
- Assist with problem-solving, issue identification, and follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Support a dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused maintenance environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint forms.

- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and general labor work as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting building, trailer, facility, warehouse, construction-site, or industrial maintenance operations.
- Experience performing basic plumbing, HVAC/filter, electrical, mechanical, or vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Experience tracking tools, equipment, parts, or maintenance inventory.
- Experience working in semiconductor, manufacturing, cleanroom, construction, or industrial facility environments.
- Experience using maintenance forms, inspection checklists, work logs, or reporting systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese communication skills are a plus, but not required.

Work Environment
This role involves hands-on work in active semiconductor, industrial, construction, building, trailer, and facility-support environments. The Maintenance/Building Engineer may work around offices, trailers, tools, maintenance materials, mechanical equipment, facility systems, vehicles, and general work areas.
The position requires the ability to work safely while wearing required personal protective equipment and following company and site-specific safety procedures. Work may include standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying materials, using hand tools and power tools, performing general labor, inspecting equipment, and responding to changing maintenance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
