Job description

The Joblogic Story

Established in 1998, Joblogic is the UK’s #1 Field Service Management (FSM) software platform. We are a global business with offices in the UK, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Since our management buy-out in 2013, we have grown from ~£500K ARR to ~£35M+ ARR and expanded our team from 11 to 500+ people.

Recently, we secured a strategic growth investment from Vista Equity Partners — a global technology investor specialising in enterprise software. This investment includes over £100 million in new primary capital and will fuel our next phase of growth by accelerating our AI-first roadmap, expanding our platform into CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) capabilities, and supporting our expansion across Europe and beyond.

With Vista’s backing, we’re transforming from a successful UK business into a global scaling SaaS rocket ship, and we’d love for you to join us on our journey to £100M ARR across international markets.

Joblogic provides software to service contractors who install and maintain the built environment. Our platform helps businesses streamline operations, improve profitability, ensure compliance, and achieve rapid growth. With over 100,000 users across industries including HVAC, plumbing, electrical maintenance, facilities management, and building fabric maintenance, we are entering a new era of intelligent automation, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making for service firms.

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Analyst to join our IT team on-site in Birmingham. This is a hands-on, broad-ranging role split fairly evenly between owning the infrastructure that keeps Joblogic running and being the visible, go-to person for the colleagues who rely on it day to day. You'll take real ownership — leading infrastructure projects end to end, making architecture decisions and setting the standard for reliable, secure and scalable systems as the business continues to grow, while providing responsive support to users across our Birmingham office and global teams

What your main focus will be:

Infrastructure & systems

• Own the design, planning and implementation of core IT infrastructure, servers, storage, networking equipment and cloud platforms, to meet evolving business needs.
• Manage and maintain servers, operating systems and applications across different environments.
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.
• Configure and maintain network devices to ensure secure, efficient communication.
• Implement and enforce security policies, backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect
infrastructure and data and ensure business continuity.
• Manage local and cloud infrastructure to optimise resource utilisation and scalability.
• Lead projects end to end, making architecture decisions, forecasting capacity and coordinating external
vendors and service providers.
• Keep documentation accurate and up to date, and report regularly on system performance and health.

End-user support:

• Act as an escalation point for local issues across the Birmingham office and supporting global teams.
• Set up and provision hardware and software for new joiners and manage the IT asset lifecycle.
• Respond to incidents promptly, troubleshoot issues and follow up with resolutions.
• Help colleagues get the most from their tools, and improve support processes, documentation and knowledge as the team grows.

Joblogic values:

At Joblogic, we expect our team members to champion and embed our core values across their work and
customer interactions:
• Respect — We value every individual and treat colleagues and customers with professionalism, fairness,
and empathy.
• Obsession with Customers — We place customer outcomes at the centre of everything we do, striving to
deliver meaningful value and exceptional experiences.
• Accountability — We take ownership of our actions, decisions, and results, holding ourselves and each
other to high standards.
• Rethink Tomorrow — We embrace innovation, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve how
we work to shape a better future.

What you bring:

• Several years' hands-on experience in an IT infrastructure engineer, analyst, specialist or administrator
role, ready to step up to a more senior position.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware and network security.
• Solid server administration experience.
• Practical experience with local and cloud platforms.
• Confident owning and running projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A clear communicator who is comfortable with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Able to manage your own workload, juggle multiple priorities and work independently.

Nice-to-have points:

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA, MCSE or equivalent.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Experience in M&A work.

Why should you take this role?

• Take real ownership of Joblogic's infrastructure — a genuine opportunity to lead projects end to end and
set the standard as the business continues to scale.
• Be a visible, go-to presence for colleagues across the Birmingham office and global teams, with direct
impact on how the business runs day to day.
• Grow with a fast-scaling, PE-backed SaaS business backed by Vista Equity Partners, with the investment
and ambition to scale internationally.

Remuneration package and benefits:

• A competitive salary-depending on experience.
• On-site working from our Birmingham headquarters.
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• A genuine opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling, PE-backed SaaS business.
• A collaborative, ambitious team where your work makes a real difference.
• Access to training and professional development to support your career progression.
