Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations in Chennai, India. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth, efficient operations. You will oversee all aspects of the restaurant, lead and develop your team, and drive profitability through strategic decision-making and operational excellence.   • Lead and manage all restaurant operations, ensuring consistent delivery of outstanding guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service quality
  • Oversee team performance, provide coaching and mentorship, and foster a collaborative culture that encourages professional growth and recognizes individual contributions
  • Manage P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and revenue optimization to drive profitability
  • Develop and implement menu strategies, pricing structures, and promotional initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage while maintaining labor cost efficiency and team satisfaction
  • Maintain composure and make decisive decisions during high-pressure situations, prioritizing tasks effectively to keep operations running smoothly
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners, ensuring reliable service and favorable terms
  • Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, using data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and secure restaurant environment
  • Conduct regular staff training programs focused on service excellence, product knowledge, and operational procedures
  • Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to align restaurant operations with organizational goals and vision
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, financial analysis, cost control, and inventory management
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, menu development, and pricing strategies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency in time management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations relevant to food service operations
  • Customer service excellence with a genuine commitment to creating memorable guest experiences
