Helper, MEP
Job description
- Assist HVAC technicians and MEP teams in installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Support installation of HVAC systems including ducting, piping, FCU, AHU, VRF/VRV systems, and related equipment.
- Carry out basic support works such as lifting, shifting, and arranging HVAC materials and tools.
- Assist in duct fabrication, insulation works, pipe fitting, and equipment installation activities.
- Perform loading, unloading, and transportation of materials at the project site.
- Provide support during equipment alignment, fixing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians to complete assigned tasks.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an MEP Helper / HVAC Helper in construction or MEP projects.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP installation activities preferred.
- Experience working on Oil & Gas HVAC projects is an advantage.
- Ability to handle physical work and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Willingness to learn and support skilled technicians.
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Will be required to work on high platforms or confined spaces, adhering strictly to safety standards.
- May be required to work overtime or extended shifts based on project deadlines.
