Job description

The Research Analyst plays a key role in managing property and market data, delivering insightful analysis to support both internal stakeholders and external clients. The position also contributes to enhancing the Colliers brand through the development of research reports, marketing collateral and PR activities.

Integral to the role is close collaboration with multiple Colliers teams, department heads and stakeholders across the business, ensuring the collection, integrity and ongoing improvement of high-quality data across relevant markets and sectors.

Some of the Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collect and analyse property market indicators across multiple sectors and markets to produce quarterly market commentary for internal and external distribution.
  • Manage the ongoing aggregation and maintenance of comparable sales and leasing evidence, property market trends and general property information.
  • Contribute to thought leadership research, presentations, publications and PR opportunities.
  • Support the development and implementation of technology strategies that enhance the Research business.
  • Collaborate with the National Research team and industry experts to improve datasets, identify trends and drive new data initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of property market data across relevant sectors and markets.

You will bring a genuine passion for the property industry, supported by relevant qualifications and/or early career experience in research, analytics or a property-related field.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A degree in Property Economics, Economics, Finance or a related discipline (completed or in your final year of study), and/or 1–2 years' experience in a Research Analyst, property, data analytics or similar role.
  • An interest in property markets, market research and data analysis.
  • Proven experience in data management and analytics, highly regarded.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel capability highly regarded.
  • Experience using Power BI, mapping tools or other data visualisation platforms preferred, though not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, coupled with a genuine interest in building professional relationships.
