How You Will Make an Impact

Own end-to-end analysis, configuration, and maintenance of card issuing systems, including Tieto Card Suite and related card platforms

Analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations, functional specifications, and technical solutions

Configure card products, transaction processing rules, fees, limits, tokenization, 3D Secure, and other card services

Coordinate end-to-end solution delivery across card systems, payment platforms, core banking systems, and customer-facing channels

Participate in card migration initiatives, product rollouts, and platform transformation programs

Ensure compliance with key financial regulations including PCI DSS, PSD2, Basel III, IFRS, AML/KYC, and GDPR

Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution of production issues

Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, Visa, Mastercard, and internal engineering teams to deliver solutions

Define and manage system interfaces, integrations, and data flows between internal and external platforms

Support release planning, testing activities, change management, and deployment coordination

Optimize system configurations and operational processes to improve stability, performance, and customer experience

Contribute to solution design, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Support the adoption of new ways of working, promote end-to-end ownership, and strengthen collaboration across teams

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Scrum or Kanban teams to deliver iterative improvements

What Makes You a Great Fit

Experience working with the Tieto Card Suite or proven experience within the Card Issuing domain

Strong understanding of card issuing processes, card lifecycle management, transaction processing, and scheme requirements

Hands-on experience in system analysis, solution configuration, and functional design

Experience working with Visa and/or Mastercard is highly desirable

Understanding of card migrations, card platform transformations, or payment modernization programs is considered a strong advantage

Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and card security concepts is an advantage

Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows between banking platforms

Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts

Understanding of AWS or cloud-based environments is considered an asset

Working knowledge of Java is a plus

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Experience preparing functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder management skills

Experience working within banking, payments, or financial services environments

Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

Gross salary. 3,300 - 6,000 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
