Assent
Sales Operations Specialist
Job description
Enable smarter selling through systems, insights, and seamless execution
At Assent, we help the world’s most responsible companies build stronger, more transparent supply chains. As we continue to scale, our Sales Operations team plays a mission-critical role in supporting global revenue growth by optimizing systems, streamlining processes, and empowering our go-to-market teams to operate with clarity and confidence.
We're looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to join this team and serve as a trusted partner to our global Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success teams. You’ll work across systems, data, and processes to help us scale effectively—whether you’re managing Salesforce updates, creating quotes, facilitating onboarding, or driving adoption of tools and best practices.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working at the intersection of technology, process, and people.
What you’ll do
Support sales execution – Partner with sellers to ensure opportunities are created, updated, and progressed efficiently in Salesforce.
Manage data integrity – Maintain and enrich Account, Contact, and Opportunity data through both manual updates and automation tools.
Coordinate account and territory changes – Implement account transfers and territory adjustments to reflect org changes and optimize coverage.
Assist with quoting and approvals – Collaborate with Deal Desk and cross-functional approvers to generate quotes and guide deal structure decisions, especially for complex pricing scenarios.
Champion systems and processes – Recommend Salesforce enhancements, submit change requests, and participate in user testing for new features and releases.
Drive onboarding and enablement – Deliver systems training and support for new Sales team members to ensure quick, confident ramp-up.
Contribute to continuous improvement – Maintain SOPs, document best practices, and identify opportunities to streamline workflows across Sales Operations and Deal Desk.
Be a field advocate – Act as a voice of the field in projects and initiatives, ensuring operational changes reflect the needs of sellers and drive impact.
Partner cross-functionally – Collaborate regularly with teams in Marketing, Finance, Legal, EDITS, and Product to ensure alignment across go-to-market processes.
What you bring
2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, or a similar function—preferably in a fast-growing B2B SaaS or services environment.
Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales tech tools; hands-on experience with data enrichment or prospecting platforms is a plus.
Strong command of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), especially in working with structured data.
Excellent communication skills—you translate technical concepts into simple, actionable guidance for users and stakeholders.
High attention to detail, with a commitment to data accuracy, process reliability, and quality delivery.
Collaborative mindset—you work well across functions and geographies, building strong internal relationships.
Strong organizational and time-management skills—you can juggle multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed.
A growth mindset—you’re coachable, proactive in seeking feedback, and always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
Resilience under pressure—you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines during critical sales cycles.
