Job description

As a Resort Experience Host, you will plan, coordinate, and lead recreational activities, special events, and entertainment programs that enhance the guest experience. This role is ideal for energetic, outgoing individuals who enjoy interacting with people, working outdoors, and creating memorable moments for families and guests of all ages.

What You'll Do as a Resort Experience Host:

  • Plan and lead a variety of recreational activities, games, classes, and events for guests of all ages.
  • Organize and host holiday events, competitions, mixers, poolside activities, and other resort entertainment.
  • Provide outstanding guest service by answering questions, assisting guests, and creating memorable experiences.
  • Encourage guest participation and maintain a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Monitor activity areas and pools while promoting and enforcing all safety guidelines.
  • Maintain activity equipment and inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Support other resort departments during special events and operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring as a Resort Experience Host:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, entertainment, theme parks, resorts, guest activities, or customer service preferred.
  • Entertainment, emcee, or public speaking experience is highly preferred, including hosting games, trivia, bingo, family activities, or live events.
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage guests of all ages while creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Florida driver's license required to operate company golf carts.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
