Part-Time Communications Assistant (Hybrid)
Job description
Peoplr is seeking a Communications Assistant for our client, Riverside Presbyterian Church. This job is ideal for attentive, creative, organized individuals who love creating beautiful, informative communications and documents. The Communications Assistant is a part-time position (20 hours/week) with a flexible, hybrid work schedule. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) As a Communications Assistant, you will… Design and print communication materials such as bulletins, fliers, and postcards Organize email campaigns in Constant Contact and update email lists as needed Perform basic editing of sermon audio each week Update website content, primarily by removing previous events Manage other office projects such as mailings, creating promotional material, or special emails Compensation Competitive hourly wage ($25/hr) Required Qualifications A personal and growing faith in Jesus Christ Experience working within an office or similar professional setting Technological aptitude with the ability and willingness to get up to speed on various programs quickly Proficiency in computer programs, including InDesign Friendly and warm demeanor to greet guests in the office Organized, able to effectively multi-task, and meet regular weekly deadlines High school diploma Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Canva Prior work experience in communications and/or technology Associate or bachelor’s degree About Riverside Presbyterian Church Riverside Presbyterian is an exciting and active church known for its committed service to the local and global community.
