Your main responsibilities as a JVM Software Engineer will include:

Support for projects related to the modernization and migration of database systems (Sybase → PostgreSQL) in a business-critical environment.
Analysis of existing applications, databases, stored procedures, and business logic to prepare the architecture for future technological changes.
Design and development of solutions based on Java and microservices architecture.
Migrating business logic from the database layer (stored procedures) to a modern application service layer.
Collaborating on system architecture and actively participating in technical decision-making.
Refactoring existing monolithic solutions and adapting them to a microservices architecture.
Collaborating with technical teams on long-term modernization and migration initiatives.
Identifying opportunities to leverage AI technologies in the software development process.
