Your day to day tasks include: - Measure and prepare piping using isometric drawings and P&IDs. - Assemble, align, and fit pipe sections for welding and installation. - Work with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and plastic piping systems. - Install flanges, valves, supports, and pump connections. - Read and verify drawings, dimensions, and engineering specifications. - Coordinate with welders to ensure proper fit-up before welding. - Perform dismantling, maintenance, and replacement work during shutdowns and turnarounds. - Follow petrochemical safety procedures, including permits, LMRA, ATEX, and gas testing.
