Purpose of Role
Responsible for managing compliance and audit functions within the finance department. Collaborates with other business groups to understand the tax impact of business operations and to help develop and implement improvements to our processes.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Develops a solid working knowledge of the business to defend tax positions.
Collaborates with other business groups to understand the tax impact of business operations and ensures proper indirect tax obligations are addressed.
Utilizes technology for process automation.
Coordinates, prepares, and reviews various state and local U.S. indirect tax requirements.
Performs tax research and analyze complex data and information to reach conclusions on Indirect Tax issues.
Assists with review, analysis, research and resolution of Indirect Tax issues.
Performs indirect tax project work as required on a variety of business projects.
Manages tax expense cash flow calculations and forecasts.
Manages tax refund projects.
Handles multiple asks within a restrictive due date delivery timeframe.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications - Education - Required
Bachelor's Degree
Qualifications - Education - Preferred
Master's Degree
Qualifications - Education - Field(s)/Profession(s)
Accounting or related field. CPA license or actively working towards attainment would be a plus.
Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Indirect Tax to include Property Tax, Sales and Use.
Minimum 2 years of experience in project management including cross-functional collaboration.
Experience managing Audit and Notices.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
Mathematical acumen to analyze complex equations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with attention to detail.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is ($95,000 - $135,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
