In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and assist with traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians entering or leaving the location.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by reporting damaged gates, lighting issues, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
