Job Description

As a Security Officer Licensed Armed Patrol in Irving, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic spaces, verifying access permissions, observing daily activity, and following post orders related to cash handling areas, customer service spaces, and other sensitive locations.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, following weapon handling protocols, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
