JOB TITLE – Seasonal Cook - Marina Fish & Chips DEPARTMENT – Marina Fish & Chips RATE OF PAY – £13.76 per hour CONTRACT TYPE – Seasonal HOURS OF WORK –37.5 hours per week

What Are We Looking For? Our Ideal Hero Will Have

• Experience working in a kitchen, takeaway, or fish and chip shop environment.
• Experience using commercial fryers and kitchen equipment.
• The ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure during busy service periods.
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and food preparation standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
• Passion for food and customer service.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.

What You'll Do Implementing Our 'Yes, We Can' Philosophy, You Will

• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Operate commercial fryers and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support the kitchen team during busy trading periods to ensure excellent service.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, food hygiene, and health and safety compliance.
• Assist with stock rotation, food preparation, and daily kitchen duties.
• Deliver a positive experience for our guests by ensuring food is prepared quickly, safely, and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent food quality and presentation.
• Support colleagues to deliver efficient, friendly service at all times.
