Our Risk Management team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of ICAAP Recovery Planning Risk Management Team Lead .
In this role, you will lead the Bank's Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Recovery Planning, and enterprise stress testing activities, ensuring capital adequacy and recovery capabilities are proactively managed under forward-looking stress scenarios. You will also drive strong governance and regulatory compliance while facilitating the timely escalation of capital and recovery risks to support informed decision-making by Senior Management and the Board.

What the role will entail
- Lead the development, governance, and quality assurance of the Bank's ICAAP and Recovery Plan, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Partner with business and risk units to gather inputs, provide effective second-line challenge, and ensure timely and accurate submissions to the BSP, including responses to regulatory feedback.
- Oversee controls, data integrity, and methodological soundness across ICAAP, Recovery Planning, and stress testing activities, while coordinating independent validations and the resolution of findings.
- Ensure Recovery Plan Early Warning Indicators (EWIs), triggers, escalation protocols, and management actions are operational, tested, and embedded within governance processes.
- Own and continuously enhance the enterprise stress testing framework, including scenario design, assumptions, and methodologies aligned with the Bank's risk profile.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate stress testing outcomes, translating results into actionable insights for capital management, strategy, and risk appetite decisions.
- Prepare and present reporting to senior management and the Risk Management Committee, ensuring strong alignment across ICAAP, Recovery Planning, stress testing, capital adequacy, and the Risk Appetite Framework.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; a Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management, capital management, ICAAP, stress testing, treasury risk, financial planning, or related functions within a regulated financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of BSP ICAAP Guidelines, SAFr, Basel Pillar 2 principles, capital adequacy frameworks, stress testing methodologies, and recovery planning practices.
- Proven understanding of Recovery Plan components, including Early Warning Indicators (EWIs), recovery triggers, escalation protocols, and governance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, engage senior stakeholders, exercise sound judgment, and deliver results in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
