About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP/Symfony) to join the core product team and take ownership of building secure, scalable features used daily by healthcare professionals.

This is a high-impact engineering role where you'll drive technical decisions, mentor developers, and own projects from architecture through production deployment while working in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

What You'll Do

Full Stack Development;

• Lead end-to-end feature development from concept through deployment
• Build secure, scalable backend services using Symfony
• Improve and maintain React-based frontend features
• Design high-quality, maintainable software architectures

Technical Leadership;

• Drive architecture and technical design decisions
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
• Contribute to roadmap planning and technical estimation

Engineering Excellence;

• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Maintain high coding standards and software quality
• Continuously improve performance, security, and scalability

What We're Looking For

Must Have;

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years in a Senior Software Engineer role
• Strong PHP and Symfony expertise
• Deep knowledge of Doctrine ORM
• Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Strong MySQL database design and optimization skills
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Solid React.js experience
• Docker experience
• GitLab CI/CD experience
• Strong understanding of backend and frontend security
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Based within the European Union

Nice to Have;

• HealthTech or SaaS experience
• Experience working in regulated industries
• Experience migrating monolithic applications toward DDD
• Public GitHub contributions or technical writing
• Experience mentoring engineers
• Strong DevOps mindset
