Job Scope
- Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning to support business operations.
- Oversee costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Develop and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Support business expansion, process improvement initiatives, and other ad-hoc finance projects assigned by management.
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience in manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Familiar with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), SST, and corporate tax regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
