MHG Insurance Group, LLC DBA MHG Risk is a growing independent insurance agency dedicated to providing personalized insurance solutions for commercial businesses, hospitality organizations, real estate clients, and individuals. We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Florida 4-40 Licensed Customer Representative to support our expanding agency through exceptional customer service, policy administration, and day-to-day operational support.
Position Overview
The Florida 4-40 Licensed Customer Representative will play a key role in supporting the agency's daily operations by assisting with policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, certificates, client communications, and administrative functions. This position serves as a primary point of contact for clients while working closely with producers, licensed agents, insurance carriers, and wholesalers to ensure timely and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with servicing commercial and personal insurance policies
- Monitor policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, certificates, applications, deadlines, and pending items
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, wholesalers, and lenders via phone and email
- Respond to client inquiries and assist in resolving policy service issues
- Prepare and process insurance applications, certificates of insurance, endorsements, change requests, and related documentation
- Organize and maintain client files, policy documents, agency records, and electronic correspondence
- Follow up on outstanding signatures, premium payments, underwriting requirements, loss runs, and policy subjectivities
- Maintain agency management systems, spreadsheets, task lists, and internal tracking reports
- Utilize AI tools to draft correspondence, summarize documents, organize information, and improve administrative workflows
- Provide day-to-day support to producers and licensed insurance agents
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and help keep agency operations running smoothly
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and client requests
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF software, and online carrier and wholesaler portals
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms to improve productivity
- Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous insurance agency experience
- Experience supporting commercial and personal insurance accounts
- Familiarity with agency management systems
- Experience working with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and underwriting processes
- Demonstrated ability to improve workflows and administrative processes through technology
Physical Requirements
This position requires extended periods of computer use, including reviewing policy documents, processing insurance transactions, maintaining electronic records, and working within multiple agency management systems. The role involves sitting for extended periods while communicating regularly with clients, insurance carriers, wholesalers, lenders, and internal team members via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
