Job description

Responsibilities: ● Apply data mining, forecasting, quantitative modelling and risk analysis techniques to interpret large volumes of order, inventory, supplier and warehouse transaction data, identifying operational, financial and supply chain risk for management and clients. ● Analyse customer demand patterns, purchase orders, product usage and historical transaction data using quantitative and statistical modelling to support accurate planning and reduce excess or insufficient stock. ● Monitor sales orders from quotation and order placement through stock allocation, warehouse transfer and customer fulfilment, applying data analysis to identify process and control weaknesses across the order lifecycle. ● Conduct root cause analysis of recurring shortages, delayed orders, inventory discrepancies and process failures using structured analytical and modelling methods, and recommend corrective actions and risk controls. ● Extract, validate and analyse data from ERP, inventory and warehouse management systems using SQL, Power BI, Excel and related analytical and reporting tools, applying IT and data manipulation skills to convert raw transactional data into decision-ready insight. ● Analyse product returns, reversal distribution orders, credits and stock adjustments using root cause and data reconciliation techniques to identify recurring errors, control weaknesses and inventory mismatches. ● Reconcile returned quantities, stock records, customer orders and supplier credits, applying analytical and audit techniques to maintain accurate operational and financial data. ● Develop dashboards and reports covering stock availability, order fulfilment, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, supplier performance and supply chain risk indicators, using business intelligence and data visualisation tools. ● Monitor key supply chain KPIs and present data-driven findings, risk assessments and recommendations to management, buyers, account managers and operational teams. ● Recommend process controls and improvements to reduce avoidable returns, credit errors, stock losses and operational exposure, based on quantitative analysis and modelling outputs.

The Candidate ● Proficiency in data mining, quantitative modelling, statistical analysis and forecasting techniques, with the ability to apply these methods to large and complex operational data sets. ● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with hands-on experience using SQL, Power BI or similar analytical, IT and reporting tools. ● Strong knowledge of risk assessment, internal controls, root cause analysis and business performance reporting, and the ability to convert complex data into practical, data-driven business recommendations. ● Experience working with ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, financial or order processing systems, extracting and manipulating data for analytical purposes. ● Relevant experience in business analysis, data analytics, risk analysis or quantitative analysis, ideally app
