• Employment Type: Contract (12 months + up to 3 annual renewals)
• Level: Mid-Senior Level
• Work Authorization: Candidates must be eligible to obtain Personal Security Clearance (Level 1), which typically requires EU citizenship or long-term residency and a verifiable background within the EU.

About the Role

We're looking for a Software Developer with strong SharePoint and .NET expertise to build, modernize, and support enterprise applications within a highly regulated environment.

You'll work across the full software development lifecycle—from architecture and development to deployment and production support—while leading technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

Software Development;

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise SharePoint solutions
• Build full-stack applications across frontend, backend, and database layers
• Develop custom SharePoint solutions using SDK, workflows, timer jobs, and features
• Build .NET/.NET Core applications and SQL Server solutions

Architecture & Technical Leadership;

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Lead technical discussions and support development teams
• Produce architecture documentation, estimates, and technical specifications
• Contribute to solution design and continuous improvements

APIs & Integration;

• Develop and integrate REST APIs, HTTP APIs, and Web Services
• Build scalable backend services and integrations
• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment processes

Support & Delivery;

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line application support
• Participate in testing, quality assurance, deployments, and change management
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver long-term solutions

What We're Looking For

Must Have;

• ICT-related Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of SharePoint development experience
• Experience building custom SharePoint solutions (SDK, workflows, features, timer jobs)
• Strong .NET / .NET Core and C# experience
• Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• REST APIs, HTTP APIs, and Web Services
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• UML and software design experience
• Scrum / Agile development experience
• Experience leading technical initiatives or development teams
• Business-level English (B2+)
• Relevant SharePoint or Microsoft certification
• Eligibility to obtain Personal Security Clearance

• Previous experience with EU institutions or public-sector organisations
• Existing security clearance
