Job description

Type: Independent contractor to start (6+ months), converting to full-time

Location: Remote — must be based in Mexico

Reports to: Head of Growth

Leads: Vanguardia — Omada's Mexico Territory Partner (field sales) organization

Compensation: MX$100,000–140,000 / month as an independent contractor (depends on experience) plus a performance bonus tied to Mexico growth.

Languages: Fluent English and Spanish — both required.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Omada is bringing an AI-powered marketing platform to Mexico's millions of small businesses — and we sell it the way this market actually buys: on the ground, through relationships, by a field team of Territory Partners we call Vanguardia. We've launched, we have momentum, and now we need a leader on the ground to own Mexico and scale it.

This is a build role. You'll own the country's go-to-market, grow the field organization from its current core into a nationwide team, and lay the foundation for greater LATAM. It starts as a contract role — we're not yet incorporated in Mexico — and is designed to convert to a permanent, full-time position as we establish a local entity. If you want to build a country from the ground up at the intersection of AI and local business, and own the outcome, this is it.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Mexico growth. Own recruiting, training, field operations, and conversion targets for the Vanguardia Territory Partner org — the number is yours.
  • The team. Scale from the current core (team leads + Territory Partners) into a nationwide field force. Develop your leads, set the daily operating rhythm, and build the culture.
  • Results. Hit weekly and monthly conversion goals, own the metrics, and run the daily cadence that drives them.
  • The playbook. Localize Omada's field GTM, pricing offers, and messaging for the Mexican market — and feed what you learn back to product and marketing at HQ.
  • Field marketing. Drive local demand generation, partnerships, events, and brand presence that put your Partners in front of more small businesses.
  • Expansion. Open new cities beyond Mexico City — Guadalajara, Monterrey — then help chart the path into the rest of LATAM.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Fluent in English and Spanish — required. You'll run a Mexican field team and work daily with a US-based leadership team, so you must operate seamlessly in both.
  • Proven field marketing / field sales leadership — you've built and led on-the-ground sales or field teams, ideally distributed and/or commission-based.
  • Deep understanding of the Mexican market and the small-business / local-business landscape — how they buy, what they value, and how to reach them.
  • A builder — hands-on, scrappy, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by an early-stage environment.
  • A strong people leader — you recruit, train, motivate, and retain a field team, and you set a high bar and a winning culture.
  • Data-driven — comfortable owning targets, metrics, and a P&L view of your market.
  • LATAM experience or knowledge is a strong plus.

NICE TO HAVE

  • SMB SaaS, marketing technology, or AI product experience
  • Experience with commission-based or agent / field-rep sales models
  • An existing network of field sales talent in Mexico you can tap from day one

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 6–12 MONTHS)

  • The field org is ramped and hitting consistent weekly conversion targets, with healthy Partner retention.
  • A repeatable recruit-to-ramp engine that scales past the launch cohort toward a nationwide team.
  • New cities opened beyond CDMX, and the foundation set for the first LATAM expansion.

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE

  • Contract to start. We're not yet incorporated in Mexico, so you'll be engaged as an independent contractor for at least the first 6 months.
  • Rate: MX$100,000–140,000 / month (≈ US $5,700–8,000), depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied to Mexico growth targets.
  • Contract-to-full-time. The role is designed to convert to a permanent, full-time position with expanded compensation as we establish a local entity.
  • Fully remote, based in Mexico.
