Maintenance Supervisor

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for assist the Maintenance Manager with day to day operations and management of the team.

What will you be doing:

• Supervise the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring all areas are safe, functional and well maintained.
• Lead, coach and support the maintenance team, allocating daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Conducting maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled & logged jobs on HubOs.
• Supervise the maintenance team focusing on talent development.
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with all Work Health and Safety (WHS), environmental and fire safety regulations.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in hotel, commercial or facilities maintenance, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Sound knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• An individual who enjoys working in dynamic environments  
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
