Senior Consultant

Role Description As a Senior Test Engineer, you will lead the testing strategy for ChromeOS for Enterprise and Education, focusing on client devices and backend services. This includes developing and executing manual and automated tests for client-server interactions within the ChromeOS and Android Commercial ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for ChromeOS and Android Commercial server features.
• Design and execute automated and manual tests for ChromeOS server features.
• Maintain automated and manual tests for ChromeOS Commercial backend services.
• Architect end-to-end tests to validate features from server-side policy configuration to client-side enforcement.
• Drive automation adoption across client and server domains.
• Debug complex issues using logs, network traffic, and system behavior.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure test coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years in software testing (client/server and platform/device).
• 5+ years designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
• Strong understanding of client-server architectures and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with test automation tools and defect triage processes.
• Experience handling and operating various devices and diagnosing issues through logs and metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience with ChromeOS architecture and testing workflows.
• Familiarity with ChromeOS and Android testing tools.
• Experience testing enterprise management systems and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of device enrollment and policy management.
• Experience with performance, security, and scalability testing.
