Accountabilities: The Logistics & Supply Chain Management Specialist will leverage industry expertise to review, validate, and improve logistics-related data and workflows used in AI development projects. The role requires strong attention to detail, operational understanding, and the ability to translate complex supply chain processes into clear, structured insights.
- Review, analyze, and validate logistics documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, inventory registers, and shipping records.
- Ensure logistics documents meet accuracy, completeness, and industry compliance standards.
- Create and annotate sample logistics documents reflecting best practices in supply chain operations.
- Evaluate existing supply chain workflows and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Provide structured feedback on logistics scenarios, documentation quality, and process efficiency.
- Support quality assurance activities by reviewing and validating logistics datasets used for AI training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with project teams to explain logistics concepts and communicate operational processes clearly.
- Contribute to the creation of reference materials, documentation guidelines, and training resources.
- Apply practical supply chain knowledge to improve the reliability and performance of AI systems.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has professional experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or related fields, with strong knowledge of industry processes and documentation. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable applying your expertise in a technology-focused environment.
- 3+ years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain management, freight operations, procurement, or related areas.
- Hands-on experience working with logistics documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, inventory records, and shipping documents.
- Strong understanding of global logistics operations, freight movement, inventory management, and supply chain workflows.
- Ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to review complex operational information accurately.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
- Experience with documentation, training materials, process standardization, or operational improvement initiatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with international shipping standards and supply chain documentation practices is preferred.
- A degree or advanced qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline is an advantage.
