At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by business needs.

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of acquisition sellers focused on growing our Search and Staffing customer base across Mid-Market and SMB segments. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing, new-business sales team that consistently delivers revenue growth while partnering closely with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure client success.

LinkedIn provides a dynamic, high-growth environment where sales leaders are empowered to drive impact, develop talent, and shape the trajectory of the business. Ideal candidates for this particular role possess a track record of solid business-to-business sales and experience managing a seasoned team of account executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of quota-carrying sellers, with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting, discovery, solution selling, and closing

  • Drive full-cycle sales excellence, including pipeline generation, client meetings, proposal development, pricing strategy, contract negotiation (MSAs/PSAs), and deal closure

  • Establish repeatable outbound motions across email, phone, social, and events to create consistent pipeline generation at scale

  • Partner closely with recruiting and delivery leadership to align on capacity, intake high-quality job orders, and ensure strong fill rates and client satisfaction

  • Navigate complex buying processes including RFPs, VMS platforms, and Procurement stakeholders, ensuring timely and competitive responses

  • Own forecasting and pipeline management, maintaining high CRM hygiene and delivering accurate, data-driven insights to senior leadership

  • Monitor and coach to key performance indicators including pipeline creation, conversion rates, sales cycle length, and revenue attainment

  • Build a strong presence in the local market through networking, industry associations, and events to generate community-driven deal flow

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent while fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative team culture

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years in an acquisition sales or account executive role

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in staffing or search sales with a strong track record of new-logo acquisition

  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing quota-carrying sales teams

  • Experience selling into Mid-Market and SMB segments with a focus on high-velocity deal cycles

  • Strong understanding of staffing economics, including bill/pay rates, markups, gross margin, and direct hire fee structures

  • Proven experience negotiating MSAs/PSAs, managing RFP responses, and working within VMS environments

  • Demonstrated success building outbound pipeline through multi-channel prospecting strategies

  • Strong operational discipline with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and forecasting processes

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence when engaging cross-functional and client stakeholders

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment while scaling team performance
