Job description
In order to work in Ireland a non-EEA National, unless they are exempted, must hold a valid employment permit. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, and other materials. Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as walls, floors, ceilings, door and window frames, staircases, and roof trusses. Install finished carpentry work, including trim, baseboards, crown molding, and cabinetry. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including power saws, drills, sanders, and traditional hand tools. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Irish building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople, including Plasterers, Electricians, and Plumbers.
Required Qualifications and Experience: A recognised trade qualification in Carpentry (e.g., FETAC/QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Carpentry and Joinery, or equivalent international qualification/ experience). Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety procedures. Valid Safe Pass card.
