Job description

BODYROK Seattle is looking for a reliable, hands-on Facilities & Equipment Coordinator to help keep our Seattle studios operating at the highest standard. This role is responsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair coordination of our Pilates reformers while ensuring each studio remains safe, clean, and fully operational.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working independently, is mechanically inclined, highly organized, and takes pride in preventative maintenance and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all reformers across Seattle studios.
  • Inspect and tighten reformer hardware, including handlebars, set screws, mermaid straps, and carriage components.
  • Inspect springs, bungees, handles, carriage bars, jumpboards, and pads for wear or damage.
  • Clean and maintain reformer rails and moving components.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and properly before classes.

Studio Facilities

  • Complete routine walkthroughs of each studio.
  • Replace or report burned-out lights and facility maintenance issues.
  • Monitor water fountain filter status and replace as needed.
  • Ensure studios are maintained to BODYROK brand standards.

Repairs & Inventory

  • Monitor and manage the studio repair log.
  • Schedule and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts, including:
  • Springs
  • Bungees
  • Handles
  • Handlebars
  • Carriage pads
  • Coordinate ordering of replacement parts before inventory runs low.
  • Document completed repairs and maintenance history.

Schedule

  • Perform preventative maintenance on a semi-weekly and monthly schedule.
  • Travel between Seattle studio locations as needed.
  • Respond to urgent equipment issues when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined with basic hand tool experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between studio locations.
  • Experience with fitness equipment, facilities maintenance, or general repair work is a plus but not required.
