Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol professional at a residential location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and/or community access points, observing for unusual conditions and communicating with residents, visitors, and/or management as needed.
- Support property rules and access procedures by documenting activity, assisting with visitor-related questions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- A guard card is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
