Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one mentoring and befriending support for Higher Needs Students (HNS), including students serving disciplinary consequences.
- Plan and conduct motivational talks and engagement programmes that promote positive behaviour and character development.
- Support basic fact-finding and information-gathering for student-related investigations, and assist in after-school neighbourhood patrols with Key Personnel (KPs).
- Assist the Discipline Master in engaging parents and guardians on student discipline, behaviour management, and development.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with families, children, or youth.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills.
- Experience in planning and conducting motivational, educational, or physical activities for children and youth will be an advantage.
Duration/Working hours
1 year contract (Aug 2026 to Jul 2027)
The personnel shall be deployed according to the following schedule:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays : 8.30am to 2.30pm (including a lunch break from 12.00pm to 12.30pm)
- Thursdays : 8.00 am to 4.30pm (including a lunch break from 12.00pm to 12.30pm)
- Weekly Working Hours: 30 hours
Services are not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and school holidays
