Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer

Location: Brussels, Belgium Work Model: Hybrid Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 6 Months

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer with 8–10 years of experience to join a high-impact project in Brussels. This role is ideal for a seasoned Dynamics professional with strong X++ development expertise and experience delivering enterprise-scale ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions using X++.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and solution architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop customizations using classes, table extensions, forms, workflows, services, data entities, reports, and batch jobs.
• Build upgrade-friendly solutions using extensions, Chain of Command (CoC), and event handlers.
• Develop and maintain integrations using OData, REST APIs, Dataverse, Dual-write, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Power Platform.
• Create and manage data entities and APIs for integrations, reporting, and data migration.
• Support asynchronous processing, batch jobs, and enterprise integration scenarios.
• Participate in technical design reviews, estimations, fit-gap analysis, and impact assessments.
• Manage source control, deployments, and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Support testing, production deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of ERP and Microsoft Dynamics development experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Advanced X++ development expertise.
• Strong experience with customizations, extensions, workflows, services, and data entities.
• Experience with OData, REST APIs, Dataverse, Dual-write, and Data Management Framework (DMF).
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), CI/CD, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations business processes.
• Experience with enterprise integrations, data migration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
