About the Role:
As a Senior Consultant,.
- you will play a key delivery in the execution and growth of our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and ESG advisory services, with a strong focus on Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), M&A transactions, compliance audits, and management systems
- You will operate in a multi-disciplinary and international environment, delivering complex consulting assignments, collaborate on projects, manage projects, and handle a wide range of consulting tasks related to environmental and occupational safety matters.
- Lead the preparation of technical and financial offers, as well as reports, in Polish and English.
- Lead conversations with clients on technical and commercial aspects.
- Manage projects in terms of scope, budget, schedule, and quality assurance of the respective project results.
- Mentor and/or manage tasks within the team.
- Work on diverse environmental, social, and H&S projects in Poland and internationally.
- Advise industrial clients on sustainable solutions for environmental and social challenges.
- Manage projects and collaborate with international colleagues and clients.
- Lead environmental, social, and occupational health and safety inspections (audits) and associated reporting to assess compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and corporate standards across various industries.
- Lead and deliver ESDD assignments for M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side), including:
- Identification of environmental, H&S, and social risks and liabilities
- Assessment of regulatory compliance and potential financial exposures
- Review of permits, management systems, and historical liabilities
- Preparation of risk-based, decision-oriented reports for investors and lenders
- Conduct and lead compliance audits and gap assessments against:
- Polish and EU environmental and H&S regulations
- International standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Lender standards (IFC, EBRD, Equator Principles, etc.)
- Deliver management system reviews and implementation, including:
- Development and optimization of EHS/ESG management systems
- Integration of ESG into operational and corporate frameworks
- Conduct site assessments, inspections, and monitoring activities across sectors (industrial, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure)
- Lead and deliver ESDD assignments for M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side), including:
About You:
- The ideal candidate will have degree in environmental science, engineering, occupational health & safety, or a related discipline
- Strong consulting experience (typically 5–8+ years) in EHS/ESG advisory
- Proven experience in:
- Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD)
- M&A transaction support (private equity, lenders, corporates)
- Compliance audits and regulatory assessments
- Management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ESG frameworks)
- Solid knowledge of Polish environmental and H&S regulations, with understanding of EU and international frameworks
- Experience leading small teams and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in:
- Polish (fluent)
- English (fluent, including technical reporting)
- Strong project management experience.
- Ability to work independently, following the company’s standards and procedures, as well as acting as a team player in multi-disciplinary audits or projects.
- Availability to support other services delivered by ERM Poland, following the guidance of topic-specific experts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with:
- Technical specialists
- Senior client stakeholders
- Investors and transaction teams
- Fluent in English and Polish, with familiarity with technical terminologies in both languages. Proficiency in German or other languages is an advantage

Location & Work Model
- Based in Warsaw, with hybrid working model, further details to be agreed during interviews).
- Willingness to travel within Poland and internationally as required
