Position Overview:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will engage in real-time software development for our radar signal processing systems. You’ll collaborate within an Agile team, interfacing with experts from Software, Subsystems, and Systems Engineering to:
• Understand technical requirements
• Design and implement effective solutions
• Develop unit tests
• Support integration and maintenance efforts

This role requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level and is based at our secure facility.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical area
• 5+ years of Software Development experience
• Proficient in Object-Oriented C++ programming
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Software Modeling (UML) and software design
• Familiarity with Design Patterns
• Knowledge of Automated Testing tools and techniques
• Experience in C++ Code Optimization for real-time systems
• Understanding of Agile Principles and CI/CD methodologies
• Team leadership and mentoring experience
• Experience with Radar and Digital Signal Processing
• GPU/CUDA development skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Work Environment:
This is an onsite role that requires full-time presence at our designated Lockheed Martin facility, with options for flexible work schedules, including a 4x10 hour workweek for three days off each week.

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this role in New Jersey is $91,000 - $172,488. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching, as well as paid time off and educational assistance.
