Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Richmond. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark. This role also requires experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark
• Work with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for application deployment and data processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development with Java and Spring Boot
• 4+ years of experience building scalable data pipelines with Apache Spark
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Microservices and REST API development

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 6+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot development
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience working with open-source frameworks and distributed systems
