Video Editor for Instagram Reels — Ongoing Monthly Collaboration

We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented video editor to partner with our team on an ongoing basis, editing 8 short-form social media videos per month for Instagram Reels. You'll work directly with our Social Media Growth Manager to transform raw footage into polished, on-brand content — complete with B-roll sourcing, captions, transitions, and light motion graphics.

This is a collaborative role with long-term potential for someone who takes pride in the craft of short-form storytelling and understands what makes content stop the scroll.

Key Responsibilities

•Edit raw footage into 8 publish-ready Instagram Reels per month

• Source and integrate relevant B-roll footage to support the narrative

• Add on-screen text, captions, transitions, and light motion graphics as needed

• Submit draft edits to the Social Media Growth Manager for review and implement feedback efficiently

• Collaborate consistently to maintain and evolve brand voice and visual identity

• Deliver final exports in platform-optimized formats, along with working project files

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong portfolio of short-form video editing (Instagram Reels and/or TikTok)

• Excellent sense of rhythm, pacing, and music-driven cuts

• Proficient in on-screen text, captioning, and basic motion graphics

• Reliable, communicative, and responsive to feedback

• Comfortable working within established brand guidelines

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve

Timeline & Budget

• Start date: March 23

• Monthly cadence: 8 videos/month (~2 per week)

• Turnaround: Draft delivered within agreed window, revisions within 48 hours, up to 3 rounds of revisions
