Motion Designer - YouTube, Short-Form, Podcasts
Job description
We are looking for a creative motion designer who has a good understanding of social media algorithms and strong visual taste.
You'll be working on producing motion design elements for YouTube videos, podcasts, and short-form clips for LinkedIn and YouTube shorts.
Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring a seamless production process and the delivery of best-in-class video content to our B2B and SaaS clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Working directly with video editors to produce beautiful motion design elements that elevate stories and visualize complex ideas
- Set visual style for our clients, working closely with their guidelines to ensure video content is on-brand
- Work with designers to bring bespoke visual style to life - including podcast branding, UI elements, and graphs/diagrams
- Produce animated explainer videos that walk buyers through the produce, keeping them hooked and engaged throughout the narrative
- Take static design elements like infographics and illustrations, increasing engagement by adding simple motion design elements
About you:
- You have strong visual taste and know the difference between good and great motion design
- You have a decent understanding of social media algorithms, and what it takes to hook viewers in - and keep them hooked.
- You’re self-motivated and organised, with great technical skills and a passion for video production and social media content.
- You’re used to keeping up with social media trends, have a keen eye for quality, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working at a fast pace.
- You have access to powerful MacOS hardware (Minimum 16” MacBook Pro or 5K iMac), and a super-fast internet connection to upload high-resolution video files.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience using the Adobe Suite (mainly After Effects, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder).
- You’re also familar with project management and workflow tools like Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp and Frame.io.
